The solvent-free primer

For the traditional KEMPERTEC EP Primer, the lower temperature limit is +10°C; the next coat can be applied after 16 hours.

It is a 2-component product based on epoxy resin. The primer has a high penetration capacity and can also be used as a layer protecting against alkalinity.

As a layer protecting against alkalinity, for new buildings and repair work, as a primer for the substrate prepared for KEMPEROL Waterproofing Systems, as a binder for filling compounds and repair mortar and for creating a bonding coat for KEMCO Decor Stone in combination with KEMCO NQ 0408 Natural Quartz.

  • workability time approx. 25 minutes
  • rainproof after approx. 6 hours 
  • can be walked on after approx. 16 hours 
  • can receive the next coat after approx. 16 hours

  • 3 * 1.0 kg kneading bag in a plastic pail
  • 10 kg in a metal container 

Consumption
Depending on the condition of the substrate: min. 0.5kg/m2 depending on layer thickness
